6 Day Tour

The famous Golden Triangle of India includes three historically important cities of the India; Delhi, Agra and Jaipur each of which are embedded with rich architecture, history and heritage. Delhi, one of the cornerstones of the Golden triangle found its genesis as the capital of the Pandavas in the Indian epic, Mahabharata. Later on the city gained importance as the capital of the Mughal Empire and it is now the capital of the nation. Prior to Delhi, Agra served as the capital of the Mughals, the second corner of our triangle. The famous monument banqueted by Shah Jahan, the Taj Mahal, only enhances the beauty and importance of the city. Jaipur is the third and final cornerstone of the Golden Triangle and has its own tales of historical to narrate. The city, whose name literally translates to “city of victory”, is well known as the first planned city in India. Now a major tourist destination, Jaipur is a perfect end to a wonderful journey.

Day 1: ARRIVAL

You will receive a hearty welcome by our representative upon your arrival at the Delhi International Airport, followed by transfer and check-in at the hotel. Rest of the day is at leisure with an overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 2: DELHI

In the morning, after breakfast we tour around Old Delhi where we visit monuments of historical significance. We visit the Red Fort, a formidable structure built by the Mughal in 1618, one of the most magnificent mosques in India- the Jama Masjid, the resting place of Humayun and the cremation site of Mahatma Gandhi, the Raj Ghat. After the tour we retire for an overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 3: DELHI-AGRA

Today, we head for Agra, the city that houses many monuments of historical importance. Upon reaching Agra, you will be assisted with checking into the hotel, and after freshening up; we head out for a tour around the city. Our first destination will be the Taj Mahal, an ornate structure in white that has for centuries been a symbol of undying love. After that we head to the Agra fort, a breath taking monument that has shaped history, power and reign, which is a today a UNESCO World Heritage Site. After the enthralling visit we head back to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 4: AGRA-FATEHPUR SIKRI-JAIPUR

We bid adieu to Agra and head to Jaipur with an on route visit to Fatehpur Sikri in the morning, after breakfast. The city of Fatehpur Sikri is considered the crowning glory of Akbar the Great's architectural legacy. You will be assisted with checking into the hotel on arrival at Jaipur, followed by an overnight stay.

Day 5: JAIPUR

Today we set out early to explore Jaipur; we start off with the Amber fort. Built in 1592, this citadel of the Kachhwaha of Amber has romantic, majestic aura that still manages to portray the forts former glory. The fort houses the Hall of Public Audience, Palace of Mirrors and a magnificent garden. After visiting the Amber Fort we head to the City Palace which was built in the 19th century by Maharaja Sawai Madho Singh. The palace houses the Chandra Mahal, Diwan-I-Aam and the famous Diwan-E-Khas. The Guinness Book has declared the silver water vessels displayed at the Diwan-E-Khas as the world's largest silver objects. After touring the city we retire for an overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 6: JAIPUR-DELHI

After checking out of the hotel in the morning, you will be transferred to Delhi International Airport where we bid you adieu and wish you a safe onward journey.
